Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing is one of North America's fastest growing sports, and Kimberley
Alpine Resort is an idyllic place to try it. The resort does not offer set
trails, but there are a number of wonderful tours available for snowshoers of
all levels.
On the Mountain Descent tour, participants ride the last chair of the day up to
the summit of Kimberley Ski Hill and enjoy a memorable descent along trails and
through trees back to the base area. During the Fondue Experience, they take a
brisk, mountaintop tour, then indulge in a decadent chocolate fondue before
riding down. It 's also possible to snowshoe through the
Trickle Creek Golf Course
to the 400-year-old Barnhaus restaurant for mulled wine around a crackling
fire on the Mulled Wine Tour.
Trickle Creek is also used throughout the winter by independent snowshoe walkers on a regular basis.
